Practicing in the field of dentistry for the past 30 years has given me the opportunity to help people improve their health and appearance. I love seeing people who are frightened of dental treatment become more relaxed each time they come to our office. I also get to meet a wide variety of people from all walks of life, age groups, occupations, and experiences. I feel that everyone knows something that I don't, so I love getting to know people and learning what is important to them.

I attended the University of Alabama where I graduated with my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. I continued on to the University of Alabama School of Dentistry where I earned my Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree.

I also participate in many hours of continuing education each year, from courses in digital imaging, cosmetic orthodontics, and restorative materials and procedures to infection control and CPR. I believe that it is only by being a lifetime student that I can offer my patients both proven treatment options and advice on the best to suit their individual goals and needs.

I am originally from Birmingham and have lived in Huntsville for the past 26 years. I have been married to my wonderful wife for 34 years and we have one daughter who is an orthopedic nurse. We also have a black, white, and tan Springer Spaniel. When I’m not in the office I enjoy doing home improvement projects, water and snow skiing, traveling, and ballroom dancing.

I am a member of the First Baptist Church Huntsville and have served as a deacon and a Sunday School teacher. I have also been on numerous dental missions, providing much needed dental care to people in Brazil, Guatemala, Gambia, Senegal, and Guinea.
